A lot of exciting things have been happening here at Northwest. We are thrilled to offer cheerleading this school year and are in the process of rebuilding our program. We will have two teams which will consist of a Developmental Team and a Varsity Team. The Developmental Team will be grades K-4th and the Varsity will include grades 5th-12th. Both teams will learn the core basics of cheerleading along with other concepts such as team work, social skills, and participating in a competitive environment. I believe this will be a great opportunity for any young girl looking to develop confidence, poise, leadership skills and teamworking along efforts with other girls.
Just in case you missed our informational meeting, which was on September 28th, just know that it's not too late to sign up. The last chance to register for this school year will be the week of October 26th. Tryouts for the Varsity Team will be taking place October 6th, 8th and 9th and practice will begin Monday, October 12th for Varsity and Tuesday, October 13th for the Developmental Team.
So please take advantage of this great opportunity and get involved. We’re excited for this new change and we hope you are too. To access the Cheerleading Registration Form or Flyer, click on "Forms" at the top of this page. The forms are in the "Athletic" section.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.

NCA is once again collecting Box Tops for Education coupons to raise money for our school. Did you know that some local schools raise thousands of dollars for their schools each year just by clipping and submitting Box Tops, UPCs, and beverage/sauce caps from participating products? You can check out the full product list at www.boxtops4education.com.
Box Top coupons are on the packaging of hundreds of products that you probably use every day! All you need to do is cut them off of the box or label they are on, stick them in a resealable plastic bag, and send them to school with your child. It's that easy! We will be collecting Box Tops all year long, so start saving and sending in your Box Tops today!
You may contact our principal, Mrs. Davis, if you have any questions or would like to help with this fundraiser. Thanks for supporting our school!
For a complete list of uniforms and prices, click on the link below and enter "Northwest Christian" in the "Find Your Dress Code" or "School Name" section.
You will find a list for ELEMENTARY and a separate one for MIDDLE/HIGH.

Here at NCA, we want to provide every opportunity we can to ensure that each family has a successful school year. As a result, we are beginning a new year of Parent Academy classes. The Parent Association for Student Success exists to assist parents in the process of fulfilling their God-given responsibility of training and educating their children to equip them for every good work and for the advancement of the kingdom of God.
These classes will equip our parents with plenty of great information on topics like Why We Exist, How We Govern, How We Teach, and How Parents Can Help. In addition, parents who complete the course will receive special privileges all year long and a deep discounton next year’s registration fee!
Classes run for four consecutive weeks, beginning on September 1st at 6:30 pm. Be sure to sign up today as space is limited! To sign up, send your full name, your child's name, and your shirt size to cread@nweagles.org. Deadline to register is August 26th. We hope to see you there!
